Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of VWFS AG in Braunschweig Germany and incorporates the UK branch of Volkswagen Bank and Volkswagen Insurance Service (Great Britain) Limited.
The primary objective of VWFS is to offer competitive finance and insurance products to over 700 retailers nationwide who represent our automotive brands within the Volkswagen Group of companies. This includes Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, SEAT, Skoda, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Lamborghini.
Established in 1994, VWFS (UK) Limited is the second largest finance subsidiary after its own German parent company VWFS AG, which was itself established in Germany in 1949. Stability and dependability are core attributes of the whole organisation.
VWFS AG was established to form the basis of an expanding global financial organisation. Today the banking and leasing operation combined, are Europe's largest automotive vehicle financial services organisation, which extends globally to over 1.9 million new and used cars financed across its worldwide operation.
In 2006, VWFS UK recorded over 1 billion pounds sterling of consumer lending, representing a significant milestone achievement for the company, which has been surpassed in subsequent years.
The UK administrative and operational headquarters are based at Milton Keynes, employing more than 400 people serving over 250,000 customers across the UK.
