Volkswagen Bank UK forms the foundation stone and wholesale funding operation for the entire Volkswagen Group network in the United Kingdom and is a wholly owned branch subsidiary, of Volkswagen Bank headquartered at Braunschweig, Germany.
Volkswagen Bank launched in 2009 and has expanded rapidly to fund and manage in conjunction with Volkswagen Group UK, major financing programmes for New and Used Vehicle funding systems to ensure the foundations essential to compliment the success of modern day Motor franchise operators.
It is expected that the full roll out of Banking Services and Credit management services covering the UK's network of Retailers, Centres and Dealers will be completed by the end of 2011.
