Volkswagen Insurance Services (VIS) was originally established in 1949 and has been a wholly owned subsidiary of VWFS since 1999. It's role is to manage the entire motor vehicle insurance business and primary focus being the provision of insurance policies to customers via the network of Volkswagen Group retailers.

As of January 2007 VIS has had its policies underwritten and administered by Zurich Insurance Company. This strategic move has been developed to ensure that VIS can provide Volkswagen Group retailers and their customers a range of competitive, industry leading products combined with excellent customer services reflecting the quality of all the Volkswagen Group.

As a new initiative customers of Audi, SEAT, Skoda, Volkswagen and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles can now enjoy complimentary motor insurance for seven days at the start of their ownership of a new or used vehicle and will be able to access our new quote and buy services soon for launch.
