For £209 per month customers could be driving a new Transporter from 1st January 2008 thanks to the range of offers which will be available from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Finance.

With compelling headline rentals the first quarter of 2008 could see Van Centres getting a fast start on their sales performance, which would set them up for the rest of the year.

The range of offers from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Finance include; finance lease, contract hire and a free servicing plan.

Making vans affordable

The ethos of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Finance is to develop and launch products and campaigns which assist Van Centres in promoting the affordability of vans and to help customers manage their finances more effectively.

The new campaign for quarter 1 reinforce the ‘affordability’ message. Van Centres will be able to offer their customers a Transporter 26 84ps 1.9TDI for £209 per month on both finance lease and contract hire agreements. But the campaign doesn’t stop there.

Up-selling in easy steps

The Q1 campaign has been structured across the Transporter range. Therefore, Van Centres are able to promote compelling rentals on all specifications and demonstrate how much more van customers could get for their budget with gradual increments in rentals.

Adding value

In addition to the powerful headlines rentals on finance lease and contract hire a free service and maintenance plan is included for 3 years or 30,000 miles (whichever comes first) creating a value-offer for customers that is currently unrivalled in the market.

Creating loyalty

Finance products such as contract hire and finance lease are recognised methods for improving customer retention. Throughout the life of these finance agreements, Van Centres have the opportunity to keep in contact with customers in order to improve the understanding of their needs. Then, at the end of the contract, the Van Centre should be in a position to offer the customer seamless transfer in to a new van on a new finance agreement.

Making the most of it

These new campaign will be available from 1st January to 30th April, so Van Centres are encouraged to maximise their Transporter sales opportunities during this period. Point of sale promotions, direct marketing, open evenings and simply mentioning the campaign to customers in the sales process should help you to improve awareness and boost sales.
