Helped by its competitive pricing and customer-orientated practices, Volkswagen Group Leasing has won a duel badged contract with leading bathroom products manufacturer Twyfords Bathrooms to supply its fleet of mainly Audi and Volkswagen Vehicles

Following a competitive evaluation exercise in the market, Volkswagen Group Leasing will now be supplying the 80 strong fleet at Stoke-on-Trent based Twyford as well as handling maintenance management through the Audi and Volkswagen retailer network.

Twyfords head of human resources, Hilary Tew said that the company had opted for Volkswagen Group Leasing to replace their existing contract hire supplier because the prices quoted were the most competitive, and because of their attitude to their fleet personnel.

"Everyone involved from Volkswagen Group Leasing and the retailer networks were very attuned to our needs and there was a high level of customer service to compliment the very competitive prices," she said.

The user-chooser Twyford fleet was already composed of 60% Audi and Volkswagen models through driver choice, so the transition to a dual-badged deal had met with very few objections from the drivers.

"From an HR perspective, there were very few issues in moving over to Audi and Volkswagen models only," added Hilary.
