Milton Keynes MP Mark Lancaster paid a visit to Volkswagen Financial Services (UK) Limited this week to hear their plans for growth and expansion in the city. The company is aiming to increase business by 20 per cent next year and is looking forward to being part of the future expansion and development of Milton Keynes. Mr Lancaster met Managing Director Graham Wheeler and Head of Corporate Development Simon Page. Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS), which provides finance to Volkswagen retailers across the UK, employs 450 people in the city. Mr Lancaster is keen to support companies wishing to grow locally. He said: "It is vital that we ensure there is room for local businesses like VWFS to expand in our city because we need the prosperity that economic growth and expansion delivers." Graham Wheeler added: "We believe that Milton Keynes is a thriving and dynamic city, and we are very excited about being part of its increased expansion and growth." |
