Six dedicated employees have clocked up an incredible 140 years service for Milton Keynes company Volkswagen Financial Services (UK). Managing Director, Graham Wheeler congratulated Barrie Hyde, Sam Hale, Mike Davenport. Alex Bantock, Robert Tween and Susan West. To celebrate their long service the employees each received between £1,000 and £2,000. Barrie, who has been with the company for 30 years, is general manager of Bentley Financial Services. He said: "I have changed roles several times. It means you have a variety and are always facing a new challenge." Sam Hale is celebrating 25 years with the company. She started as a secretary and is now a business control auditor, while project manager Alex Bantock has worked for VWFS for 20 years. "I think the company's success is down to the great people that work here. Everyone has a good attitude and we have a lot of confidence in the product that we are selling." Company policy is that all staff and a family member are entitled to a new lease car every six months at an extremely competitive price. Mr Wheeler said: "We are delighted to have such loyal staff and we are grateful for their commitment to VWFS. It's wonderful that they so highly rate the company. We conducted an independent HR survey recently and 93 per cent of employees said they would recommend VWFS as a great place to work, with great people and team working." |
