A new online insurance service has been launched especially for Volkswagen drivers.
Instant insurance quotes for all Volkswagen vehicles can now be obtained at www.vwinsurance.co.uk .
The new service has been devised and will be managed by Volkswagen Insurance Service (Great Britain) Limited (VIS) in partnership with Zurich Insurance Company.
Business Development Director David Maloney said: “This is great news for Volkswagen drivers as we will be able to offer instant competitive rates with a high level of cover options specifically created for our vehicles.
“We introduced the online service because we’ve been listening to what customers want and there was overwhelming demand for a more easily accessible tailor-made Volkswagen Insurance service.”
In the past the company only offered a telephone insurance service.
VIS now has further plans to extend online insurance services to other brands within the group later next year. This is likely to include Audi, SEAT and Skoda.
